Client Management

What’s the most important thing to your practice?

Answer: The people. Am I right? 'The people' means everyone who is part of what you do - from you, the other practitioners you might work with, to the clients you treat.

Ethical Practice’s seminars and workshops on client management have been designed to help you look at the ways in which you can improve the experience for everyone at your practice.

But isn’t it about getting good results?

Getting great health results for your clients (or patients) is vital to your success. We both know that. But how you treat and handle the clients that come to your health practice is likely to be a part of how they feel about those results.

And how they feel can directly impact on those results, in a positive or negative way.

Good client management is likely to determine if they come back for further treatment. It is also likely to determine how they talk about your services to others. And yes, good client management directly increases the likelihood of client referrals.

It is easy to become complacent

Over time, we can gradually lose focus. We can forget who we are here for, our clients, and why we are practicing, to help them.

That is why being able to create your own set of guidelines is important to keep that focus. The guidelines can help you achieve your goals - and your client’s goals. This can be a simple but powerful way of keeping on track.

This is not about becoming a robot. It is about creating the tools to grow and improve as a practitioner.

The more we work to a system - a system we relate to and one that inspires us - the less we need to think about the little things.

Without getting the little things right, your whole practice can be completely undermined.

So the system alllows you to focus on the larger aspects of your practice and your passion, while knowing the little things are covered.

When do we manage our clients?

  • When clients first call you to find out if you can help them
  • When they first walk in to your reception
  • During a consultation and treatment
  • Before they leave the treatment room
  • When they are paying at reception
  • When they are booking again...

...and when they are not under your roof but could use some support.

Ethical Practice looks at the whole time spectrum of client management.
