The local bit

Held mid-July, this free half-day event was called 3 Gems of Practice. Jeff kicked off the day with his talk 'Success versus Ethics: How to have both'.

We didn't expect Western Australians to be rude. But we certainly weren't expecting the incredible level of warmth, helpful advice and all-round good banter these somewhat isolated people managed to muster.

A practitioner was recently discussing with me an issue regarding their client numbers - or the lack thereof.

I asked him the key question: How is your client retention?

In reply, he made two points:

In the beginning...the vibe wasn't so groovy for our last seminar (Your Vision - Your Success) at Vibe Hotel at Surfers Paradise two Sundays ago.

One missing VGA data connector cable caused quite a flurry. Luckily, seminar participant (and Brisbane energy worker) Shauna Teaken swung by JB Hi-Fi and saved the day. With that said Jeff Shearer did very nicely for the first 40 minutes 'unplugged'.
